Who We Are

The Adult Learner Services Tutorial Program offers adults free, confidential, one-to-one and small group instruction in basic reading, writing, math, English for speakers of other languages (ESOL), and preparation for the high school equivalency exam (HiSET® ). Volunteer tutors receive training and ongoing support as they work in partnership with their students to reach individual educational goals.

Individual Tutoring

The heart of the program lies in one-to-one tutoring.  Meetings with the volunteer tutor are private and happen at a time and place that is mutually convenient.  Many people find they flourish with personalized attention they receive.
