This seminar is designed to offer organizing strategies to start your downsizing efforts. Establish your project priorities, learn what supplies you might need, and set realistic time constraints. Leave with an action plan. One night class on Monday, 4/14, 6-8pm.
Sourdough is great for the gut which is essential to having a healthy body. This 2-hour workshop will teach you about creating a healthy gut and what kinds of foods will help achieve this along with sourdough bread. Class will include a hands-on tutorial for making your own sourdough so that you can bake your own bread the next day! We will have tips and ideas and show you from beginning to end.
By learning the sourdough basics, it will give you the skills to transform many foods into healthier options for you & your family such as pizza, muffins, English muffins, cookies, brownies, tortillas, cornbread and so much more! All bread recipe supplies included. Students should plan to bring a LARGE bowl to class to bring home their bread dough.
Minimum of 8 students required to hold the class. Tuesday, one night, 6-8pm.
Class will cover the basic documents everyone should have as part of their estate plan and whether a trust might be right for your family. Plus, how to avoid probate all explained in simple layperson terms. Tuesday, 1 night, 6-730 pm.
Learn to make desserts that will marvel your guest throughout the year. This native Italian instructor will share her recipes for tiramisu, Nutella cookies and other desserts, based on the class participants preferences. 2 weeks.
Learn to customize your smart phone or tablet, including touch screen basics, sharing photos, connecting to Wi-Fi, downloading apps and using accessibility features such as Zoom, voice-to-text and screen readers. Class meets for one night on Monday, 6-830 pm.
Students will design and create their own delicate flower from Japanese clay and then choose to make a personalized piece of jewelry with their creation. Choose from earrings, pendant or pin. All supplies are included in this one night class on Tuesday, 4/22.
Course covers Adult/Child CPR, AED use & helping choking victims for an AHA CPR Certification. The card will be emailed to each student. Book included. Thursday night class, 530-9pm.
Come and create greeting cards that are unique and elegant made with a little bit of watercolor painting and stamping. Handmade cards are a wonderful way to express your creativity and can save you money and time. You will make a series of personalized handmade cards to give to friends and family. All Materials Included! Monday, 1 night.
This course will review the basic documents seniors should have in place, tools that can be used to protect assets from potential future nursing home costs, and planning in a crisis. Instructors will include a financial advisor to discuss long term care insurance as well as an attorney with a practice that specializes in elder law. Tuesday, 1 session, 6-730 pm.
